In response to recent public health recommendations and in compliance with the Governor’s shelter at home order, the Library will be closed until further notice. All library in person library programs have been canceled. The April 8 Library Board Meeting has been postponed. See the notice here.

All due dates for books and bills have been extended until July 6. The outdoor book drop will open May 13. Patrons with an address that ends in an even number may return materials on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Patrons with an address that ends in an odd number may return materials on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Please don’t rush to return your items! We will be quarantining all materials for 72 hours after they are returned, so they will remain on your account after you return them. Please do not leave materials outside the book drop. Patrons who do so will be billed for the items and have their library privileges suspended.

Health experts including Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, have advocated for social distancing — isolating people and canceling gatherings — as the best solution to avoid the rapid spread of this infectious disease. Slowing the rate of infection will help “flatten the curve” of new COVID-19 cases and keep the healthcare system from becoming overwhelmed.

We regret any inconvenience this causes. Please check our Facebook page or website for any updates.
