About: 

Learn about how to identify criteria of severe weather and how to report it to the National Weather Service. Become a trained spotter in your neighborhood and help make a difference in possibly saving lives by providing valuable observations to the National Weather Service to assist in providing critical lifesaving warning to the public.

This is open the public and is FREE. Anyone may attend, but because of some of the more complex nature of the content, ages 10 and up is advised, but is valuable to any age if they have a strong interest in thunderstorms and weather. This is free training offered through the National Weather Service and local Emergency Management Agencies to the communities in the Chicago area.
