Location & Hours for License Plate Renewal Services
Acorn Public Library District offers the Illinois License Plate renewal service. Illinois residents will be able to renew their license plate stickers and leave with the sticker the same day*. You will need your Illinois Vehicle Registration Renewal Notice or Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), Driver’s license number, and license plate number.
* If your vehicle needs to pass an emissions test, the Library will be unable to renew your license plate. Due to staff scheduling, we may not be able to complete your request. Call 708-687-3700 to confirm that staff will be available.
HOURS SUBJECT TO CHANGE:
Monday thru Thursday: 9 am – 8:45 pm
Friday: 9 am – 4:45 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 4:45 pm
Fees & Payment Methods:
Customers will only be able to pay with cash or a debit or credit card.
Service fee for each renewal: $9.50*
*Prices subject to change
Covered: B-Truck, C-Truck, Motorcycle, Passenger, and Person with Disabilities.
Not Covered: RVs and Trailers
