Public computers are available to Acorn Public Library Cardholders free of charge for 120 minutes per day. After the first 120 minutes, the cost is $1.00 per 30 minutes. Guest passes are complimentary for 10 minutes, then $1.00 per 30 minutes.
Each public computer has Internet and printing capabilities, and is equipped with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016. To aid visibility, our computers have Magnifier, a software program that enlarges items displaying on the screen.
Computers for patrons under 18 and their accompanying guardians are located on the lower level. Computers for patrons age 18 and over are located on the upper level.
The Library offers free wireless access to the internet to those with their own laptops and devices. There is no password; just search for the public network and connect. Library staff can point out where the wireless signal is strongest, but cannot troubleshoot an individual’s computer.
Printing is available from all public computers. The cost is $0.10 per page for black and white and $0.50 per page for color.
You can send your documents to our printer from your home computer or mobile device using PrinterOn. Submit your request via PrinterOn’s website or app.
