Beware the Witches of November

In the autumn, frigid air from the north descends on the Great Lakes. The water temperature, however, is still warm from summer. The temperature difference brings turbulent storms. Starting in 1679 when Le Griffon sunk in Lake Michigan, this presentation explores how the Witches of November have been responsible for thousands of shipwrecks in our inland seas!
