The Beatles After the Break-up

July 15 @ 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Although they were undeniably the most popular band in the world, in April of 1970 The Beatles broke up, the members going their separate ways. They each had their own individual solo career and along the way there have been several releases from the Band. Music historian and Beatle expert Professor Moptop (Gregory Alexander) will discuss the band final days, their individual solo careers, and the assorted releases from the band that came out since then, This includes the new songs released along with the Anthology documentary, the the BBC recordings, The Get Back film, and the band’s final release “Now and Then” which came out in 2023. Using audio and video the Professor will teach all about this fascinating subject with lots to learn for long-time Beatlemaniacs as well as those who know just a little and are looking to know more, something for everyone.
