Notice of Vacancy on the Library Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees of the Acorn Public Library District is seeking to fill a vacancy. Anyone interested in being considered for an appointment as Trustee to fill this vacancy should submit a letter of interest and resume addressed to the Board President, by Saturday, June 10, 2023.

The appointment shall extend until after the next election is held (April, 2025) and until the newly elected Trustee is sworn in (which will occur in May 2025). The Board will review all submitted letters and resumes, and may conduct personal interviews before making a final decision at a future Board meeting. Please note that not all applicants will receive a personal interview and there is no compensation associated with the position of Trustee.
