The Board of Trustees of the Acorn Public Library District is seeking to fill a vacancy that will be upcoming on the Board. Anyone interested in being considered for an appointment as Trustee to fill this vacancy should submit a letter of interest and resume addressed to the Board President, by Saturday, May 15, 2021.
The appointment shall extend until after the next election is held [April, 2023] and until the newly elected Trustee is sworn in [which will occur in May 2023]. The Board will review all submitted letters and resumes, and conduct any personal interviews before making a final decision at a future Board meeting. Please note that not all applicants will receive a personal interview and there is no compensation associated with the position of Trustee.
